Joel Jones

Owner / Principal Videographer / Principal Editor

Joel picked up a camera and found his passion for video production in 1995. He developed his talent by making videos with friends and for youth group functions over the next several years. While serving in ministry during college, Campus Crusade, Joel started marketing his work under the name Synthetic Productions. Shortly after graduating with his bachelor’s in Communications, Broadcasting, he met his wife Erin. They married in August 2006.

Erin and Joel filmed their first wedding video together in July of 2006, only one month before their own wedding. Erin quickly found an interest and talent in video production as she assisted Joel on various video assignments. Erin graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor's degree in Communications - Public Relations, and was able to use her knowledge, skills and abilities to assist with making Synthetic Productions into a legitimate business venture.
