FAQs

Q: What kind of equipment do you use?

A: We use professional Sony DCR-VX2100 digital video cameras for all of our wedding packages. These cameras feature professional image controls, lenses and light sensitivity. We use an Olympus DS-40 digital voice recorder in conjunction with our cameras in order to capture your wedding vows. Our cameras are kept stable by using Tiffen Professional Steady Stick systems which allow us to hold the cameras stable without being tied down to a tripod.

Q: What is your editing style?

A: Our videos have a modern and contemporary feel to them. We use contemporary musical selections where appropriate to create an emotional "feel" for each video. We shy away from heavy post-production film effects, choosing instead to document, highlight and enchance your special day - not create a fictional work. We have a mixed editing style combining both documentary and montage styles of editing. We film the ceremony in it's entirety using multiple cameras. Other parts of the final video, such as the formal photo shoots are done in montage style - using bits and pieces of what we film, applying appropriate special effects, such as slow motion, and setting everything to contemporary music.
